Total Lunar Eclipse Observation |

Join the Raleigh Astronomy Club at North Cary Park on Wednesday, February 20 from 8:30-11:00 p.m. to observe a total eclipse of the Moon. The Moon will move partially into the Earth’s shadow starting at 8:43 p.m. The total phase of the eclipse will start at 10:00 p.m. and end at 11:00 p.m. In addition to the Moon, the ringed planet Saturn will be visible along with other celestial sights.
In the event of cloudy weather, the event will be cancelled. North Cary Park is located at 1100 Norwell Blvd. just off Cary Parkway. For more information visit the Raleigh Astronomy Club website at http://www.raleighastro.org. |
