The Turnpike Authority has announced that they will close a portion of McCrimmon Parkway near the entrance of Panther Creek High School.  This will prevent Weycroft residents from using the road to access NC 55.  The closure is expected to begin in April and last 300 days.  Click here for more information. 

Spring over to the 17th Annual Spring Daze Arts & Crafts Festival at Fred G. Bond Metro Park, 801 High House Road on Saturday, April 24, 2010 from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.  The festival is filled with wonderful arts and crafts, your favorite festival foods, community based civic groups handing out information on things you can get involved with, and entertainment.
